Our students recently conducted Lecturer Appreciation Day (LAD) under the Rotaract Club of MIU. LAD is the first of its kind to be carried out at our university. The VIPs in attendance were Vice-Chancellor Dr. PLNG Rao, Deputy Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zanuldin Ahmad, Advisor to our Vice-Chancellor, Dr Sen Gupta, Deans, and Lecturers of Manipal International University.

Following the arrival of the VIPs, the event kicked off with speeches by the representative of the project manager Jebsen Edmund, followed by Dr PLNG Rao’s speech and Dr. Sen Gupta’s speech as a representative from Rotary Nilai Sentral Club.

Following enthralling dance performances by our talented students, four games were carried out as the highlight of the event which were “Balloon Pop”, “Limbo”, “Poison Balloon”, and “Dance Battle”. The games were carried out with much enthusiasm and excitement from both our students and lecturers.

At the end of the event, the Best Lecturer award was taken home by Mr. Rajini for the Male Category and Ms. Preeti for the Female Category. Meanwhile, the Best Dressed Lecturer award was given to Mr. Rajini in the Male Category and Ms. Shanthi in the Female category.
