City & Guilds visits Manipal International University, Nilai

The City & Guilds Group paid a visit to Manipal International University (MIU) on December 22nd, 2014 to discuss the possibility of signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The City & Guilds Group aims to enable people and organisations to develop their skills for personal and economic growth. They help people succeed by tapping individual potential and developing their skills which then transits into workforce. They work with over 200 companies worldwide including education providers, and also with governments in over 80 countries.
Aside from their office in Malaysia, the City & Guilds Group has regional offices in China, Hungary, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, Sri Lanka, United Arab Emirates and USA. It also has representatives in Trinidad & Tobago and Jamaica. In India, the group operates Manipal City & Guilds - a joint venture with Manipal Global Education Services (MaGE).
20 million people have received a qualification from the City & Guilds Group since 2000. Their qualifications cover 26 industries with apprenticeships which cover 120 job roles.
MIU is constantly looking out for academic partnerships which will benefit their students and make their university experience a more meaningful one.
