CFLS MIU International Cultural Day 2014

Students of June Intake from Centre for Language and Foundation Studies organised MIU International Day as part of their co-curricular activities on Wednesday, 10th December, 2014. Students set up multicultural stalls to attract visitors and create a fun environment.
They sold food items such as puddings, muffins, chocolate cakes, lollipops and drinks such as Gatorade and Tropicana blackcurrent. They also put up stalls selling souvenirs, dedication flowers and even gala night tickets. The event was a success and all the tickets were sold out. On the same day, they organised a futsal competition as a sub event to the main Gala Night. It started at 4pm and went on till 7 pm. The league choosing and the quarter finals were held that day.
On Friday, 12th December, the semifinals and the finals of the futsal competition were held in the morning. In the evening the main event - Gala Night was held in conjunction of their co-curriculum subject. It started at 6pm and went on till 10pm. The event was a huge success. It had fashion show, talent shows, lucky draws and also price giving ceremony that night. It was a job well done as the students had spend a huge amount of effort in organising the event. The VIPs, guests and all those who attended the event gave good remarks for the same.
